JOHN CAMPBELL TRUST 2001 AWARDS
Dissertation and Conference/Travel bursaries
For our second call of 2001, the Trustees are offering Awards in one
category only:
* Dissertation Bursaries: Such an Award is intended to help a
student of information/library studies in the UK, who has to
prepare a project or dissertation as part of his/her course of
study, to pursue a topic which would necessarily require a
programme of visits for the collection of information or data.
The maximum value for an individual award is 1000 pounds.
The closing date for these competitive Awards is 30 March 2001. Full
details of the awards and an application form may be obtained from the
Institute of Information Scientists' website or in case of difficulties
from the Chair of Trustees (contact details below).

The John Campbell Trust was established as an independent charitable
trust through the bequest of the late Dr John Campbell, an early
member of the Institute of Information Scientists. Its purpose is
to further the education and development of information professionals
through grants, scholarships, research or travel awards, and thereby
to enhance the knowledge and experience of the information community
as a whole.
