Patrick,
You'll find the latest regional GDP figures (for 1998) in
an issue of Statistics in Focus, which is available free of charge on the
Eurostat web site:
Regional Gross Domestic Product in the European Union 1998
Statistics in Focus - Theme 1 - General Statistics - no. 3/2001 (issue date
23.2.2001)
Now that the Statistics in Focus series is available free on the web, it's
an invaluable source of current statistical data on a whole range of
different topics.
Regional GDP data, and lots more besides, are also available in a Eurostat
publication: "Regions: Statistical yearbook 2000" - ISBN: 92-828-9763-X.
This is a must for anyone who regularly needs regional statistics.
Best regards,
Chris

Subject: statistics - plea for help
Date: Fri, 23 Mar 2001 12:52:05 +0000
Dear colleagues,
I've just had an enquiry from Cornwall from someone who
needs figures for GDP for the UK at county level,
preferably at NUTS 1/2/3 level (the SW is problematic as
Cornwall and Devon are now classified separately).
Any help would be very gratefully received, as I know
nothing about statistics!
Best wishes and have a good weekend!
