In view of the potential virus threats which attachments raise, as opposed
to text documents, it would be great if those posting to this list with
information offered a plain text version, as well as the nicer looking
attachment. That gives nervous users like myself a chance to vet the
information in advance.
Of course Outlook and Outlook Express users can be vulnerable to viruses in
attachments even if they do not open them, but luckily this is not the case
with most viruses.
