>announce the competition for participation in the Summer School "Men and
>Masculinities" supported by HESP-Soros Foundation.

>The course will propose an innovative topic for the development of faculty
>in social sciences and humanities, for the promotion of gender research in
>men and masculinities in the countries of Eastern/central Europe, Baltic
>region, NIS countries. As such, the Summer School will address the topic
>from different academic perspectives. As there already exists a body of
>scholars involved nationally and internationally in the gender research of
>men roles and masculinities, it will also be productive for the researchers
>of the region to learn from the innovative research methodologies in
>different contexts so that the teaching material can be utilized in their
>own countries and , moreover, enable them to develop the gender research on
