Jonathan
Can you help?
I think there are very serious issues in here which were confirmed
by my visit to the Harrogate show. Lots of EPRs all web-enabled
and radio networked and hardly a clinician in sight who could
comment on appropriatenes or safety!

Dear Dr Bullock!
I got your name from Jerry Snell, who gave a very much appreciated
lectured at an EQUALIS meeting in Sweden last week. Hopfully this
e-mail adress works.
I have been responsible for the national coding scheme for Clinical
Chemistry wich is intended for use e.g. as identifiers in EDI reports.
In this connection a discussion has raised on how the lab reports
are
presented on screen for the requester using a HIS. How detailed
information is eg presented regarding the used procedures at lab?
What
is the policy currently in UK? Is there any collected info
somewhere,
easily available?
Best regards
Gunnar Nordin, MD
