The young lad had a number 2 hair cut which made cleaning easy but hair
tying a non-starter.
I've not seen reusing of glue tubes but agree it would seriously concern me.
When I've not had glue to hand, I have found staples very good in the past
with this age group because if you use distraction and are fast enough (3
staples in 3 seconds) you can close a simple scalp wound before they know
what hit them. It sounds a bit cruel but some of them barely notice.
Certainly, they cry a lot less than they do when you spend 10 minutes
putting local in and then suture them.
