a GUI is a graphical user information, that stuff first develped at
Xerox (known as X-window), then promoted by Apple Lisa and Macintosh,
and it becamse more popular 11 years ago with MS-Windows 3.0. All
windows based applications use a GUI.

An undo-button in database programs would be very difficult to
implement, from the programmers point of view.

This is indeed easy to change, but it also requires that the
documenation and the help system also have to be changed, and that
cuases more trouble than just changing the program.

This is a very good idea, Ann. So please use this list to ask for
changes, for new developments, or what you find annoying. Most software
developers read this list.
