In response to Tim Clark's off list reply (see below)
I couldn't disagree more... They have been asked.. hundreds of times by the
local authority, all the regeneration boards etc... consultation fatigue has
already set in... These are the sort of people who have sweated for years in
the voluntary sector in deprived areas..the social entrepreneurs who already
have set up projects... The pressure is such that it feels almost compulsory
that such community leaders should give even more as they are co-opted into
statutory policy.
