Thanks for your email. Sorry I don't know anything about the Lovett
family, although if anyone is researching them they would probably have
an entry in the 'Genealogical Research Directory' or the members
interests lists of relevant family history societies.
As to CDs, these have been used extensively for the storage of
genealogical data, and many are available for purchase. For example,
many 19th c trade directories are available in this way. So are some
indexes to wills, gazetteers, pollbooks, etc., etc. I am attempting to
list everything that is currently available - probably totalling some
300 to 400 CDs.

Subject: Re: Do You Publish Genealogy on CDs?
I have produced what I believe is the only history of the Lovett family
(spelt Louet until the 1600's) going back to Richard Louet in Normandy
in
1050. Have also produced a history of Astley Village here, which incldes
some historical information on the familiers. I am know writing the
Biography of ANDREW YARRANTON. Do you know if any one else is doing so?
I do not know what you mean regarding using CD's. I store the histories
on
the PC but would copy to disc if there was a reason. Tell me more.
Best Regards Gordon Lovett
