Dear colleague,
The Dublin Core Metadata Initiative (DCMI) Libraries Working Group [1]
kindly asks for your input on the questionnaire (below).
The PURPOSE of the questionnaire is to help achieve some of the objectives
of our 2001 work plan
[2], including:
* To collect and share examples of Dublin Core use in libraries.
* To stimulate discussion about a library-specific application profile
of Dublin Core.
This will also feed into the process of drafting a library-specific
application profile for the use of Dublin Core in libraries. A summary [3]
of the meeting held at the 8th Dublin Core workshop in Ottawa is available
at:
http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/wa.exe?A2=ind0010&L=dc-libraries&F=&S=&P=3

CRITERIA FOR PARTICIPATION: Experience in using Dublin Core in a library
setting.
The questionnaire is NOT limited to members of this working group or
subscribers to Dublin Core mailing lists.
Please forward to other colleagues as appropriate.
PLEASE SEND COMPLETED QUESTIONNAIRES TO: [log in to unmask]
A SUMMARY of the responses will be posted to the DC-Libraries list [4], and
the DC-General List [5].
Or you may contact me directly for a summary.
DEADLINE for responses: March 1, 2001.
We sincerely thank you for your participation. If you have questions or
comments, please contact me, or Rebecca Guenther, chair of the DCMI
Libraries Working Group at [[log in to unmask]].
Best regards,
