I work in a medium sized reference library, where we hold hard copies of
the OJ going back twenty years or so. Due to space constraints I would like
to replace the hard copy with a less bulky form of storage, or even
discard it completely and rely on the Internet/other archive sources to
find the material required but am not sure of the best way to do this. The
messages about Com docs seem to indicate that electronic storage could have
several pitfalls! Our main need is to be able to locate and obtain specific
directives etc as required, rather than to keep an archive for the sake of
it. I would be grateful for any advice.
