Data Manager / Project administrator
Starting Salary: £18,909 to £23,569 (including London Weighting)
A full-time data manager is required to co-ordinate a large European Cohort
Study on Congenital Toxoplasmosis. The study is investigating the effects
of screening and treatment strategies for toxoplasmosis on child
development, and genetic susceptibility to congenital toxoplasmosis. The
study involves collaboration with clinicians across Europe and travel to
centres is sometimes necessary.
The responsibilities of the post include data entry and data management
(using SAS), basic statistical analyses, production of regular feedback
reports for participating centres, organisation of European meetings, and
day to day administration. Applicants should be familiar with database
manipulation and basic statistical methods. Experience in scientific
research would be an advantage.
