ANGELAKI
journal of the theoretical humanities
volume 5 number 2 august 2000
special issue: RHIZOMATICS, GENEALOGY, DECONSTRUCTION
issue editor: constantin v. boundas
This collection is an invitation to pay equal attention to the
singularity of the works of Deleuze/Guattari, Foucault and Derrida and
to the resonances and dissonances in them and between them. Comparisons
are not necessarily otiose. "_Com-parere_" is to appear together, to
make a joint entrance upon the scene, to occupy the same stage. How was
the stage occupied by them? As if striated by the sheer force of their
singular works, each one of them coming to occupy a share of it; or as
if it was smooth, upon which they distributed themselves, without
division?
