MAIN CONFERENCE on SATURDAY 10TH FEBRUARY (9.00am - 5.15pm)
in the Main Arts Lecture Theatre, College Road, Bangor University.
**SPEAKERS will include:
- Shan Ashton (Bangor University)
- Duncan Green (CAFOD) (TBC)
- Colin Hines (Protect the Local, Globally)
- John Lovering (Cardiff University)
- George Monbiot (The Land is Ours)
**WORKSHOPS will be facilitated by groups that include: Oxfam, Christian Aid, CAFOD, World Development Movement, Anti-Poverty Alliance Cymru, Church Action on Poverty, Amnesty International, Cymdeithas yr Iaith Gymraeg, Earth First!, People and Planet, SPEAK and 'Protect the Local, Globally'. Workshops will be held in seminar rooms in the Hen Coleg.

FILMS SHOWING at Y Ffynnon, Princes Road, Bangor
on Friday 9th Febraury (7.30pm) and Saturday 10th February (6.45pm)
- "Suits & Savages": A journey from the forest gardens of South India to the corridors of power in Washington DC - where decisions are made by the World Bank on how to spend $2.7 billion of global green aid. A film by Conscious Cinema.
- "This is What Democracy Looks Like": An account of last year's 'Battle of Seattle' that stopped the World Trade Organization in its tracks; a key event for the growing world-wide movement that is challenging corporate-led globalisation.
