The ICAD-01 Conference Committee invites you to participate in the
  Sixteenth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence and
 Computer-Aided Design (ICAD-01), to be held in Gelendzhik, Russia,
September
 3-8, 2001.  Attached is the Call for Papers.
  Please note that the submission deadlines are June 1 (electronic

  ICAD-01 Call for Technical Papers

  The ICAD-01 Program Committee invites submissions of technical
  papers for ICAD-01, to be held in Gelendzhik, Russia, September 3-8,
2001.
  Submissions are invited on substantial, original,
  and previously unpublished research on all aspects of Artificial
  Intelligence and computer-aided design.

  Important Dates for Papers

  April 1, 2001: Electronic Title Page and Paper Submission Deadline
  May 10, 2001: Acceptance Notification
  July 1, 2001: Deadline for Receipt of Camera-ready Copy
  September 3-8: ICAD-01 Paper Sessions

 Timetable

  Authors must submit their paper's title page (preferably
  electronically together with an electronic copy of the paper, as
  described below) to arrive by April 1, 2001.

  Notification of receipt will be mailed to the first author (or
  designated author) soon after receipt. Notification of acceptance or
  rejection of submitted papers will be mailed to the first author (or
  designated author) by May 10, 2001 on e-mail.

 Camera-ready copy of accepted papers must be received by July 1, 2001.
 Note that at least one author of each accepted paper is required to
attend
the conference to present the
 work.

 Electronic Title Page & Electronic Paper Copy

  In addition to the electronic title page we also require
  an electronic copy of the paper to be submitted.

  Authors without access to a WWW browser with forms support should
  mail a printed title page to the Taganrog State University of
  Radioengineering, whose address is at the end of this call. This title
page
  must arrive by April 1, 2001.

 Submission should have the following format:

      author: name of first author
      address: address of first author
      ...
      author: name of last author
      address: address of last author
      title: title of the paper
      abstract: abstract<100 words
      content areas: first area,..., last area

  Authors are also expected not to submit their papers elsewhere during
  ICAD's review period. These restrictions apply only to journals and
  conferences, not to workshops and similar specialized presentations
  with a limited audience.

  Paper Format

 We  can accept e-mail submissions of full papers. Submissions
  must be prepare for print on 8-1/2 x 11 inch or A4 paper.
  Submissions must not exceed six pages in camera-ready format.
  Each accepted  paper will be allowed six pages in the proceedings; up to
  two additional pages may be purchased at a price of $50 per page.

  Review Process

  Selection criteria include accuracy and originality of ideas, clarity
and
  significance of  results and quality of the presentation.

   Papers selected will be scheduled for presentation and will
  be printed in the Proceedings after presentation.
  Authors of accepted papers, or their  representatives, are expected to
  present their papers at the  conference.
