Dear Sara Lennox,
This message is from Maria Veber - any response should be sent to this email
address and marked as being for me.
I will be at the conference in October, and I would be happy to address the
question of Feminist Germanists in Australia and connections with developments
in Australian feminist scholarship for your panel. I'm in the final stages of
a PhD at the moment, and prior to commencing full-time work on the thesis
taught at Sydney University for a number of years, where I was co-founder of
an interdisciplinary seminar series ("Not My Department"), and had some
contact with the Women's Studies Centre in its formative stages. For the
proposed panel I would collate the views of feminist scholars in German and
other disciplines, primarily in Sydney and Adelaide, in order to be able to
present a picture of present and future directions.
If this proposal is of interest to you, I would appreciate guidelines as to
format and length of the presentation, as well as an indication of the areas
you would wish to have covered.
