I would appreciate what advice/ experience
any colleagues have about the following
..........................................................
Using a Proxy Server via Apache
Where does one stand legally if one does the following:
Create a web server which connects to a third parties web site and allows
our off site users to access the web is such a way that all the URLs
in the downloaded page appear to come for your own site and not that
of the Original Authors.
For example
www.company.com would become www.gateway.university.ac.uk
We have paid the license to access the information and off site
users are allowed access via a password protected web cache.
However there are a number of users who for a variety of
different reasons can not use the web cache.
Their ISP does not let them change their proxy settings
or
the user works at a company with a firewall and they cannot
connect to any off site web caches
or
the user finds the whole process to confusing altogether.
Many thanks

users and providing a password for remote users)
