We use MySQL and PHP for most of our web development, we also use Perl
talking to MySQL for nightly page updates as well and are also looking
at doing some Oracle PHP/Perl integration in the future. We don't
support students in our group as we look after the corporate website
and not teaching and learning. We also use phpMyAdmin to allow users
to maintain their own tables from a nice simple web interface.
We have also implemented a Content Management System in PHP and are
developing an integrated database tool to allow publishers to manage
database content within the CMS.

We use 3.23.29 and php-4.0.6 (PHP 4 is worth the upgrade).
Cheers,
Gareth
