Title: Web Editor

Description:
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, the web editor is a key role for the University's communications and development unit. The successful candidate will establish and manage the style of the University's web presence, working through a network of departmental web maintainers and offering them advice and expertise on design, training and software. This role is at the centre of the team that controls editorial content, and is highly influential in the future development of the web - this is an active, high-profile role within University communications. Applicants should have a first degree, backed by experience in design and marketing aspects of web use. Their technical skill will extend across a range of software including Dreamweaver, and they will have a broad knowledge of web use in the HE sector. Experience of training or coaching is desirable, as is a knowledge of current trends in the drive towards on-line content management, accessibility and the legislative requirements of online publishing. Salary: Salary in the range £19,482 - £25,213 per annum.
