Keith,
We have two WebCT servers, one central on Unix, one in our School running on NT4. Of course each server has its own Anti Virus Protection.
In general, we have found it very useful; we use it mainly for our Educational Programme for
We have had no technical problems connecting through the LMU firewall, nor any loss of security.
If you'd like to come and have a look, I'm sure we can arrange something.
Kind regards,

Subject: hosting
Hi
I am investing hosting options for a vle. Does anyone have an idea of what
proportion of colleges have their VLE or MLE hosted:
1. on a server in the college which is visible outside the college
2. on a dedicated hosted server outside the college
3. using a supplier's server
Cheers
