I think I agree with Terri about this one, Cara. I do like the look of your
poems - they're almost always so crisp and elegant. I like the disconnected
connection in this. I studied in the West of India for a while. You've
reminded me of a bus trip through Rajasthan with the Baroda Photographic
Society. That really is how it looks from a distance but the reality's a
lot harsher and your poem's a good tool for reflection.
