Marilyn, I find these images very powerful.  I think it might be worth
working on them more a bit later.  Perhaps some could be cut back slightly
to make them even starker.  For example, not sure that you need solemnly in
8. or both beloved and missing in 11. or American in 15.   I love clay and
flayed steel and very much like these short clipped images because they seem
emotionally appropriate and real.
