I am determined to continue to write in difficult forms for the discipline of
our craft.  The ghazal is a fascinating one.  Would be fun for others on the
forum to try one too.

Have you seen Shahram Shiva's 'Rending The Veil'? You might find it

interesting if you haven't already seen it. He shows some of Rumi's

quatrains in four different ways: the original script, a phonetic

translation, a literal translation and his own, poetic translation.  He

suggests experimenting with the material - a kind of DIY Mowlana quatrain
