Hi Gary,
Yes, yes, yes. Takes me back to reading more Li Po and all his buddies over
the centuries. Brings out that enigmatic feel of Chinese poetry and indeed
Japanese. Gives so sense of all this striving a little idiotic in the face
of eternity, which comes through in the poem here. I was concerned that you
were setting fire to new poems... still, who's to worry.
