The Poet In Residence website is seeking submissions for issue two. The
first issue, 'The Stalking Tongue' was a popular and successful website and
the editor (JFK) is currently seeking edgy, experimental and brilliant
poetry.
As this is a multi media site, preference will be given for poetry
submissions in
mp3 audio
visual poetry/ photographs in jpeg format,
video
Flash
Of course, a great print-only text is always welcome.
Edition two (as yet untitled), is using a three minute maximum time limit
for mp3s and video. It will also will consider interesting interviews etc.
If u have an idea, please talk to jfk.
Poets are requested to submit up to three text poems; one mp3 and/or 3
images at a time. Please ensure the file sizes are as follows.
Mp3 - maximum of 3MB (unless u negotiate otherwise).
Images - maximum of 50K per image (unless u negotiate otherwise). When
sending texts, send only Word 6 or earlier attachments or paste into the
body of the email. Type 'SUBMISSION for Poet in residence' into the subject
line so that your file is not deleted.
Although 'Poet In Residence' cannot offer payment, it offers great exposure
for a minimum of 12 months, links to your site, contact emails next to your
contribution and makes no claims over your copyright ownership. JFK will be
doing everything in her power to make this site a resource for poetry in
multimedia applications.
Deadline for submissions is August 24th 2001. You can email jfk from her
