APOLOGIES FOR CROSS-POSTINGS
Dear Colleagues,
'Greener Management International' Issue 32 is a special theme issue:
The Ecology of the New Economy: Sustainable Transformation of Global
Information, Communication and Electronics Industries
Edited by Nigel Roome, Erasmus Centre for Sustainable Development and
Management, Erasmus University, Netherlands, and Jacob Park, Department of
Government and Politics, University of Maryland, USA
Information, communication, computing and electronic (ICCE) technologies are
rapidly developing and assuming a more prominent role in both the developed
and developing world. They are provoking new and complex issues for
sustainable development. This special issue of 'Greener Management
International' sets out to provide a forum to stimulate discussion and to
provoke further examination of these important new technologies and their
impacts on society and the environment. With contributions from
academicians, corporate practitioners and researchers with independent
policy research groups, the issue offers a range of perspectives - sectoral,
national and global - and provides some key conclusions on the relationship
between sustainability, ICEE technologies and the processes of
globalisation.
