Hello everyone.
My department is currently a big-endian only (HP-UX) site.
For obvious reasons, we are interested in the possibility
of including linux machines in our analysis system.
To test wether this will be possible, I have tested spm99 on
one of our local linux machines, and it seems that spm99 on linux
has no problems reading big-endian data.
Since the two systems are to share data via nfs, we must keep all
data in a consistent format, that is big-endian.
What changes (if any) to spm99 sources are required to keep data
from all steps of the analysis in big-endian format? Looking into the
code it seems obvious that I am to change fopen() calls in
spm_write_plane.m and spm_hwrite.m . Are there other needed changes to
make or any unwanted sideeffects to take into account?
Thanks in advance for helping me out
Best regards
Peter Willendrup
