Dear SPMers,
We have run an fMRI study with the following sessions:
(1) ABC
(2) ABD
(3) DBE
where B is a common baseline and A,C,D and E are separate
conditions.
Using a fixed-effects model are we justified to:
(a) directly contrast conditions drawn from different
sessions, e.g. C vs D?
(b) collapse common conditions across sessions (eg A from
session 1 and A from session 2) and then contrast them
directly with another collapsed condition (eg D from
session 2 and D from session 3)?
Thanks in advance,
Tom Spencer.
