Dear SPMers,
I found the following in the spm_spm_ui programmers notes the other day
and was wondering if I have been making incorrect assumptions about the
order in which to enter scans.
% D.b.aTime - a binary indicator specifying whether images within F3
% level (subject) are selected in time order. For time
% order (D.b.aTime=1), F2 levels are indicated by a user
% input "condition" string (input handled by spm_input's
% 'c' type). When (D.b.aTime=0), images for each F3 are
% selected by F2 (condition). The latter was the mode of
% SPM95 and SPM96. (SPM94 and SPMclassic didn't do
% replications of conditions.)
Does it matter if the files are entered in time order for a conditions
and covariates design (single subject with gCBF as the only covariate)?
Does SPM use time as a nuisance covariate somewhere that I am not seeing?
Thanks for the help,
---sam
