Dear Colleague,
It is now less than two weeks until the deadline (15th Jan.) for
abstract submission for Brighton 2001. Pursuing the emphasis on
posters, everybody will be asked to present a poster based on their
abstract. A few (7) posters will be defended orally in the oral
sessions at the invitation of the Programme Committee and Session
Chairs. This year the oral sessions for methods (Acquisition and
Analysis) are being used to accomdate member-initiated symposia
pertaining to some current issues, otherwise the meeting format will be
very much as last year. The Sunday fMRI educational programme will
retain its successful format (and will require a separate registration
fee). The Morning Symposia, during the meeting proper, are free and
have been extended to accomodate some of the excellent member-initiated
proposals.
I look foward to seeing you later in the year.
With very best wishes - Karl
Chair, Local Organising Committee
