At the
University of Tübingen
Institute of Medical Psychology & Behavioral Neurobiology (Prof.
Birbaumer)
two positions (1 PhD-Student, 1 Postdoc) are available to join the
junior
research group "Cortical Reorganization and Learning", funded by the
Volkswagen-Stiftung.
The project is intended to study in humans training-related
reorganization
in somatosensory and motor cortex with functional MRI and/or
magnetoencephalography.
Applicants for the PhD-student position should have a degree in
medicine,
psychology or neurobiology, experience in neuroimaging would be of
advantage. Salary is BAT IIa/2.
The postdoc position is intended for MD (neurology or related field)
with
strong knowledge in functional MRI. Applicants with PhD in neurobiology,
psychology or physics and powerful experience in fMRI are also welcome.
Salary is BAT IIa.
For both positions, we are looking for highly motivated neuroscientists
with
prime research interest and strong background in the topic of our group.
Tübingen offers an excellent research environment for neuroscience in
Germany due to its many neuroscientific labs at the University and
Max-Planck institutes connected through a number of neuroscience
programs.
