Post-doctoral Neuroimaging Research Associate (full time)
We have a vacancy for a post-doctoral RA to work in an interdisciplinary
group using structural and functional neuroimaging techniques to
investigate the neural mechanisms involved in language processing, in both
healthy and brain-damaged populations. Applicants will interact closely
with Professor LK Tyler (Psychology) and Dr P. Fletcher (Psychiatry) as
well as other neuroimaging groups in Cambridge (MRC-CBU). Candidates should
have a strong background and training in neuroimaging (fMRI) and an
interest in the neural substrate for language. They must have strong
interest in and experience with design, execution and analysis of fMRI
experiments, and knowledge of Matlab and SPM99 is essential. This post is
available now and funded until September 30 2005. Salary will be on the
RA1A scale £16286 - £24,479 (under review) according to age and experience.
