Resonance Technologies has a couple of fMRI compatible mouse/trackball products. They have a conventional style trackball, with 4 buttons, available for use with either a PC or Mac. These devices use conventional copper wire which passes through RF filters at the penetration panel. We have used one of these trackballs for a few years without degradation of EPI fMRI images.
Resonance Technologies now offers a wireless infrared mouse which communicates optically through the scan room window. I have not tried their infrared mouse.
By the way, we use their video goggles and non-pneumatic sound systems and are very impressed with them.

Dear all,
we are looking for a fMRI compatible mouse device for PC to be
used in a SIGNA scanner (1.5 T).
Does anybody know any suppliers or tricks to adapt a standart mouse for
fMRI in
order to avoid magnetic artefacts.
Thanks for help
