Johanne (or Mario?),
There may be a couple of issues here. If your computer can't reproduce " '
" (single quote), and you instead have to write " ` " (which is usually
found on the 'tilda' or '~' key), then, yes, you may experience a few
problems with using MATLAB. However, if you did only have a ' ` ' on your
computer, and typed:
V=spm_vol (spm_get (Inf,'*.img)) using the "`" where the " ' " is, you'd
get the following error message:
V= spm_vol(spm_get(Inf, `*.img))
??? V= spm_vol(spm_get(Inf, `*.img))
|
Error: Missing variable or function.
...not the typical syntax error that you have. So it appears that your
problem is just a missing " ' " so that the line should be:
V=spm_vol (spm_get (Inf,' *.img ' ))
If you understood the above then you are significantly more awake than I am
this morning.;-).
However, spm_vol extracts *'header' information* into the structure V,
*not* voxel timecourses. I understand you may want to use V.fname later on,
or something, but in case you didn't know, spm_sample_vol may be what
you're looking for.
Dave.
