Hi Folks
Sorry but I have been saving my questions up and am now in need of some
answers if your able.
I have several TI MRI volumes. Non isotropic voxels in .hdr format. I
have reoriented them using reorient.m on the AC/PC. I did not reslice
them. Was this a mistake?
I then proceeded to try and SEGMENT them and while I think the
segmentation was relatively successful i.e. all the skull/extraneous
tissue was removed and the GM/WM/CSF was good the volumes appeared not
to be in the orientation that I had corrected them to. Was this as a
result of NOT reslicing them? They each have .mat files and hence I do
not understand why they are misoriented again, for lack of a better term.
I would like to coregister them to either a normalized subject from my
group or the MNI atlas but having only a single volume for each subject
I am having diff. navigating past the object/target selection in
COREGISTER. Any suggestions?
I am in the end doing a compartive study of shape between two groups of
T1 MRI's and thought that the process should go as follows
Reorient==>normalise==>segment==>coregister==>smooth
or have I gotten it really wrong. So much of the help has to do with
fMRI or time series work I am very uncertain as to the comments
relevancy to my own work so anyone using it on MRI would be v. helpful.
Help gratefully appreciated on any part/parts
