dear SPMers,
an associated concern: I am also doing something similar, on a
single patient, though i have a well populated control set. Is such an
analysis feasible? What are the necessary proofs/tests required
befor embarking upon such an experiment, so that the efficacy of the
experiment is ensured ?
regards,
Siddharth.

For example ,if SPM could use the method of “discriminant analysis “to diagnose a single scan through comparing it with a control(disease control or normal control), then should get the result of normality or abnormality for the single scan. If feasible ,it could help clinicians to diagnose in a more objective way .please tell me the feasibility.
