Dear all
my thanks to Andrew Smith and my apologies to everyone for my linguistic error in the last post. I was under the impression that 'fulsome' meant something along the lines of 'generous' or 'substantial'
Andrew pointed me to the definition which seems to be rather the opposite, I had NO intention of saying
"adj.
disgusting by excess of flattery, servility, or expressions of affection; excessive, cloying.
disp. copious.
In fulsome praise, fulsome means `excessive', not `generous'.
fulsomely adv.
fulsomeness n."
sincere apologies
