Hi,
I've become interested in some applications of Space Syntax to
archaeological problems and was wondering if there are any archaeologists,
or otherwise sympathetic readers, lurking about on this list. Most of the
American work I've seen lies in the Southwest, focusing on pueblos where
the architectural preservation is quite good. I'm dealing with
Mississippian villages and mound centers in the Midwest and Southeast,
where wood frame huts and palisade walls leave less pronounced footprints.
Is anybody out there dealing with issues of data gaps in instances of
less-good preservation? I'd really be glad to hear from anybody who is
currently using Space Syntax in their work.
