"Psychological Research and its Application to Learning and
Teaching", Wednesday 19th September 2001, University of
Strathclyde
Dear Colleagues,
This workshop will provide the opportunity to explore the
relationship between research and teaching in psychology,
presenting the argument that the discipline as a whole would
benefit from a much closer relationship between research and
teaching. An overview of the main theoretical concepts will be
examined in terms of their implications for learning and teaching in
Higher Education. Participants will be encouraged to think of how
their teaching activities could be re-interpreted within theoretical
contexts.
This workshop should be of interest to academics involved in the
teaching of psychology or related subjects. Although discipline
specific, it may also be of interest to those with a more generic
interest in the relationship between research and teaching.
The cost is free. For a full programme and online booking form,
