David,
The company I work for here in the States has produced
at least one report dealing with dredge monitoring, we
didn't find much. I am curious about your approach to
this issue. Do you survey for submerged prehistoric
sites as well as wrecks? A simple mag/side scan/sub
bottom survey gets the results needed for the
shipwreck portion of the survey. What methodology is
employed for the prehistoric resources? I have been
talking to local shellfishermen to get information on
near shore and intertidal site locations, but the
depth of the sites is limited to the length of their
"tong" rakes. Any ideas about methodology you can
pass along will be appreciated.
