Dear Colleagues!
The Voronezh State University departments of Russian history and of Early
Modern and Modern History invite you to submit contributions to the second
volume of the following inter-university collection of essays:
Konservatizm v Rossii i v mire: proshloe i nastoiashchee
(Conservatism in Russia and the World: Past and Present)
Texts may be submitted in English-the editors will arrange translations into
Russian.
The volume will deal with the following issues:
* Theoretical issues in the study of conservatism;
* Traditionalism and conservative ideology;
* Prominent individual conservatives, Russian as well as foreign;
* Analysis of the diverse currents of conservative thought;
* The activities of conservatives and conservative organizations in
politics, culture, economics, etc.
* Reviews and critical discussion of the literature on traditionalism,
conservatism, and right-wing ideologies.
A section of the volume will be reserved for the publication of primary
sources, to be carried out according to the accepted archaeographic
standards.
Contributions may be up to 24 pages long. They should be in Word, 14 point
type, 1 ½ spaced. The file must also be saved in RTF format. The electronic
text should be sent as an e-mail attachment, and a hard copy should be sent
by mail. Hand-written texts cannot be accepted. Deadline: May 1, 2002.
