250 US $ would be sufficient to meet a year's tuition fees for one
student attending Timisoara University's newly established course
in Theology and Social Work.
Areopagus, an association of young Orthodox lay believers based
in Timisoara, Romania, and of which I myself know four core
members (at least one of whom lectures at Timisoara University's
Faculty of Theology), has set itself the task of finding funding for
ten
of the thirty students accepted onto the course last week. Three
amounts of 250 $ have been pledged already.
If you feel able to make any contribution at all, please do contact
me as
a British coordinator for this fund-raising initiative, on:

The newly-created and very practically-oriented course at Timisoara
offers a valuable opportunity to thirty young people selected by
interview and offered places. Your support could make it possible
for at least some of them to take up their places now.

Theology in Russia, Bulgaria, Romania and Ukraine
