Portuguese Economic Journal - Call for Papers
*********************************************
We would like to introduce to you the Portuguese Economic
Journal, a new economics journal to be published from 2002.
The journal will be published by Springer-Verlag.
The Portuguese Economic Journal aims to publish high quality
theoretical, empirical, applied, or policy-oriented research
papers on any field in economics. We will enforce a rigorous,
fair and prompt refereeing process. All papers will be refereed.
The geographical reference in the name of the journal only
means that the journal is an initiative of Portuguese scholars.
There will be no bias in favor of particular themes and issues.
Two types of volumes will be published. Regular volumes will
publish contributed papers and special volumes will publish
invited papers. The first special issue will come out in 2002
and is dedicated to microeconometrics. The guest editors are
Frank Windmeijer (Institute for Fiscal Studies) and J.M.C.
Santos Silva (ISEG, Universidade Técnica de Lisboa).
