Dear all,
I was asked by a member of the chemistry department that I am working in (on
a chemistry education project), if I knew of anything that they could buy to
show off and display in the department. What they had in mind was something
in chemistry along the same lines as models of the body, or skeletons in
biology, light boxes and van de Graff generators in physics. Something that
doesn't require a lot of maintenance, and possibly could be 'put in the boot
of a car' and taken somewhere else for display. The only suggestion that
they had was a large molecular model kit. They have some, but not a lot of
money to spend on it, and hope to use it to promote chemistry when school
children visit the department on lab tours and open days, and for the young
scientists competition stand.
Please help, all suggestions welcomed.
