Bioterrorism - facts and fictions

The threat posed by biological weapons is a matter of international public
concern. Science can help clarify how big the threat of bioterrorism is and
what we should do to protect ourselves.
Professor Harry Smith FRS, Emeritus Professor of Microbiology at Birmingham
University and Chair of the Royal Society working group on
biological weapons, is joined by Professor Malcolm Dando, Professor of
International Security at the University of Bradford's Department of Peace
Studies and Dr Patricia Troop, Deputy Chief Medical Officer for England, to
discuss the threat of bioterrorism. The event will be chaired by Clive
Cookson, Science Editor of The Financial Times.
