Dear Fellow Spongologists,
Has anyone developed microsatellites for any species of sponge?
I am putting together a project to look at the degree of relatedness
within and between four sample populations of Halichondria panicea in
southcentral Alaska. Due to budgetary constraints I am unable to develop
my own microsatellites, so was hoping someone in the sponge community
might already have some they would be willing to share.
Whether or not you use microsatellites, any information as to where I
might inquire would be of great help.
Thanks for your time!
Spongily yours,
Ann
