Ah Mark
I can't, I admit, put in the whole ten books of _the martyrology,_ but
these two lines speak to me, & point a bit toward it. I like the concept in
the wider realm too. All the way back to genesis...
but it's true, bp's work probably requires a longer reading (& a lot of teh
good stuff is too long to fit in my sig...).
I do highly recommend, to anyone, bpNichol's writing, especially _the
martyrology,_ but also his sound poems (on tape or CD in performance), his
concrete poetry, & his proses (as he called them). For me, at least, a
master, right up there with the greats of the past century (some of whom
you & I agree upon, I believe...)
