I think the right word to use is 'dumb' rather than 'stupid'.
It is beyond intelligence.
And Candice aint half going to get a shock when she gets
my second set of books, which I sent her along with the Germaine.
And it has struck me that I will have to leave this mailing-list
soon, I dont know if I will return, and my 'Kitten Poems' pamphlet
will be back from the printers soon and anybody wanting a copy
gratis should send me a snailmail address. The text is already
available on the Web at
http://www.bath.ac.uk/~exxdgdc/poetry/library/kh1.html
but you wont get the picture of my cat that way. (He got beat
up in a fight on Monday and it cost me 25 quid at the vet. I
hope this wont be a regular occurrence.
The 'Kitten POems' pamphlet, which I intend as my last publication,
is very much a vanity production and I probably wont try to sell
any copies. (I have hundreds of people to give it away to).
I havent yet decided whether to send out review copies but I
probably will (along with the 'Cat Poems' pamphlet which wasnt
sent out either).
But now it is time for my steak and a re-listen to the double-CD
Rod Stewart compilation I bought cheap in SAinsburys this morning.
And as a closing note Trevor Joyce sent me a marvellous poem last
night. The same quality as his 'Sweeney'. I hope you get a chance
to read it. His writing makes me jealous.
