i think pierre bourdieu's the fellah for this
the art world as the economic world reversed ... the realm in which the loser
wins because the tracks to canonisation that way lie
but this is all to do with explusion and the soul's upheavings and guesses as
fabulous detritus
which need neither be entertained nor paid for
although plato it should be noted was going to give the poets a feed and a
garland as a send off
... the least he could do
