It was a perfectly straightforward question--guess you just
didn't get it. But all of the above (sans the sarcasm) at least
speaks to my puzzlement over the position/perspective/vantage
point you seemed to be assuming--without even being aware of it,
apparently. One of the key elements of the colonial/imperial
enterprise, wasn't it?
